Traveling in Japan
If you're planning your first trip to Japan, you'l find many surprises when staying in a hotel or inn. Just about anything can be purchased from a vending machine - including beer, sake to many types of foods. Another surprise is the toilet, which often looks like a serious high-tech machine. The Japanese toilet comes alive as a symphony of buttons, lights, seats opening by themselves, water squirting from various gizmos - not to mention heated seats that go up and down by themselves and even built-in air fresheners!
